Recently, Adobe introduced an AI-powered feature in Photoshop called Generative Fill. The tools listed here each have unique strengths and weaknesses that can compete with Firefly. Creative Cloud Pricing Changes

While there are logical reasons for why much of this is web-based, I fear how it will be used to charge us more and leave us with less control. For example if your image is bigger than 2000×2000 different pricing applies but they don’t specific what that pricing is. Following several months of beta testing, Adobe has announced that its Firefly generative AI model is now commercially available across Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud. The beta versions of the Firefly tools are browser-based, and support the Chrome, Safari and Edge browsers on desktop. Adobe has launched the beta program for Firefly, its new suite of generative AI art tools. Adobe Firefly is built on top of Adobe Sensei, the company’s AI platform. Sensei has been used to power a variety of features in Adobe’s creative software, such as object selection in Photoshop and image auto-enhancement in Lightroom.

Along with the AI updates, Adobe announced that prices will be increasing by around 10% for its plans that include the new capabilities. This collaboration opens up exciting possibilities for designers, artists, and creators as they explore the synergies between Adobe Firefly and Bard’s advanced technologies.
